Did you resolve to become a better birder in 2017? Are you looking for a way to connect with like-minded people, visit interesting habits, or simply know the birds with whom we share our backyards and bayous?
We've got the perfect class for you! Our Novice Birding Class is 5 weeks long. Each week we will focus on a different group of birds. This class will help you to recognize field marks, features, and songs; and become proficient with binoculars and spotting scopes.
This class meets EVERY OTHER Saturday from 9 a.m. til noon, with two cohorts meeting on alternating weeks. If you sign up for cohort A, but cannot make one of cohort A's assigned Saturdays, you are welcome to join cohort B's day instead, and vice versa.
Classes begin January 28th (cohort A) and February 4 (cohort B). Class costs $100/person/non-members and $90/person/members
Pre-registration is required. Please contact Erin at firstname.lastname@example.org or 228.475.0825 ext. 2 to register and please specify your preferred cohort.
